Greek Independence Day at Kibbutz Be’eri
On March 25, 2025, I had the honor of participating in the commemoration of Greek Independence Day, organized by the Embassy of Greece in Israel at Kibbutz Be’eri.
Under the leadership of H.E. Maya Solomou, the Ambassador of Greece to Israel, the event was a profound display of diplomatic solidarity and shared resilience.
The choice of Kibbutz Be’eri as the venue carried exceptional significance. Having endured immense challenges, the kibbutz stood as a powerful testament to renewal, strength, and the enduring human capacity to rebuild and hope. Ambassador Solomou’s decision to hold the event there underscored the deep ties between Greece and Israel, highlighting our shared experiences of perseverance.
As we marked the 204th anniversary of Greece’s independence, the event served as a powerful reminder of our common values—freedom, courage, and the unbreakable human spirit.
